Decorating & Home Decor Class Table of Contents Lesson
5
For Master Bedrooms & Bath Suites This lesson the lesson is on the Bedrooms and Baths - the Master Suite and the children's rooms. First the Master Suite: This is possibly the most important room in the house and unfortunately, for many of us, we decorate it and fix it up last. Most people tend to do the public areas of their house, then the kids rooms before doing the Master Suite. So, lets go through this lesson as if you have decided that this room is the most important room in the house to you and it is at the top of your decorating priority list. Aside from the clearances and necessary areas required in the Master Suite, we will do the lesson this lesson, mainly with photos of bedrooms and discussing the good and bad things happening in each. Also remember to keep in mind what you really want your Master Suite to look like. This is your space, your retreat, and your oasis from a hectic world. If you want to paint the walls lime green - do it! I think it would be incredible. If you want red walls with a leopard print bedspread - send me a picture afterwards and I imagine I will agree that it is truly gorgeous. Above all, if you tend to want approval from others on your interiors, don't worry what other people think of your color scheme, decorations, etc. in the Master Suite of all the rooms in your house. If someone doesn't like it, they don't need to go in there! My favorite saying applies here - "There's no such thing as right or wrong interior design, only good and bad. And if you love it and it functions to meet your needs - it's not bad!
A child's room is a special place - whether it
is large or small - it is a place that a child can call their own.
It should, therefore, be a reflection of the child's personality
and should be decorated with thing the child loves. Accessories
for a child's room are often their stuffed animals, toys, awards,
and posters. These are perfect to add personality and color to their
room. Contents Exercise
