How To Sew or Glue with Beaded Fringe

It's really very simple to keep the beaded strands of beaded fringe under control while either sewing or hot gluing to during a project.

Simply purchase some Painters Tape. This is a wide tape (typically blue in color) that has a low adhesive. Lay a length of the beaded fringe on your worksurface with the bead strands hanging fairly straight down. Then tear off the same length of the painters tape and gently press the tape against the beaded fringe strands, leaving the ribbon or twill tape header at the top of the fringe uncovered.

The Painters Tape will keep the stands in a controllable form while you are working with the beaded fringe.
